Miriam Buschhaus

Miriam Buschhaus is a full-time Lecturer in the Department of Chemistry at Trinity Western University (TWU), part of the Faculty of Natural & Applied Sciences. Previously, she served as a full-time Lecturer at California State University, Bakersfield (CSUB) from 2008 to 2020. Her expertise spans teaching first-year chemistry and inorganic chemistry, including curriculum development for introductory labs and authoring lab manuals.

• PhD in Organometallic Chemistry, University of British Columbia (2008)
• BSc in Chemistry, Trinity Western University (2002)

Research interests focus on transition metal complexes of molybdenum and tungsten, particularly their roles in alkene polymerization and C-H bond activation. Her teaching specialization includes General Chemistry I/II, Inorganic Chemistry, and Advanced Inorganic Chemistry courses at TWU.
