Miriam Aziz is a former Senior Research Fellow (2013-2015) at the Max Planck Institute for Comparative Public Law and International Law. Her research focuses on European Public Law, Law and Humanities, and Medical Jurisprudence. She previously held roles including Associate Professor of European Administrative Law (2005-2009) at the University of Siena School of Law, Italy, and Post-Doctoral Research Fellow at the Free University of Berlin (1997-2000). She earned a Ph.D. in Medical Jurisprudence from the University of Edinburgh (1993-1997), LL.B (Hons) from the University of Manchester (1989-1992), and a European Baccalaureate from Brussels.
