Dr. Miranda Sin-Man Tsang is a Research Fellow at RMIT University's China-Australia International Research Centre for Chinese Medicine, affiliated with the STEM College and International Department. She holds a BSc (Hons) in Molecular Biotechnology and a PhD from The Chinese University of Hong Kong (2018), with additional training at Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich. Her research focuses on Chinese Medicine efficacy for long COVID, cytokines in allergic diseases (e.g., atopic dermatitis, asthma), herbal medicine mechanisms, and SARS-CoV-2 immunoboosting strategies.
Key projects include systematic reviews on herbal medicine for long-term symptoms and clinical trials for long COVID. She has received the Health and Medical Research Fund (HMRF) as a co-investigator in Hong Kong. Her work integrates immunology, microbiology, and traditional medicine, with a focus on molecular mechanisms and quality control of herbal therapies.
