Miranda Matthews

Miranda Matthews is a Senior Lecturer in Educational Studies at Goldsmiths, University of London, and Director of the Centre for Arts and Learning (CAL) since 2019. She holds a PhD in Educational Studies (2012) and an MFA in Fine Art (2003). Her research focuses on arts-based methodologies in education, particularly their role in fostering agency, representation, and ecological awareness. Key areas include participatory arts practices with youth, climate education, and interdisciplinary approaches to pedagogy.
