Dr. Mir Dost is a Senior Lecturer in Innovation and Strategic Management at the University of Winchester, UK, and Program Lead for the MBA program. Previously, he held academic roles including Assistant Professorships at Al-Maktoum College, Sohar University, and Sukkur IBA University, as well as Director roles in Research and Management at Lasbela University. He holds a PhD in Entrepreneurship and Innovation Management from the Asian Institute of Technology (Thailand) and an MBA in Entrepreneurship.
His research focuses on frugal innovation, circular economy, and sustainable product development, particularly in the chemical and pharmaceutical industries. Key themes include knowledge capital (human/social/organizational) influencing innovation, green entrepreneurship, and community-led enterprise strategies. He has published extensively in journals like Management Decision, Sustainable Development, and Journal of Entrepreneurship, with over 20 peer-reviewed articles since 2013.
Dr. Dost actively engages in academic conferences (ISPIM, Academy of Management) and consultancies, including roles with ICIMOD and Pakistan’s National Business Development Program.
