Dr. Anton de Waal is an Assistant Professor at Bond Business School, specializing in corporate entrepreneurship and innovation management with a focus on frugal innovation (FI). With a 15-year engineering industry background, he transitioned to academia by earning a PhD in Innovation Management from the University of Canterbury (2011). He collaborates with the Center for Frugal Innovation at the Hamburg University of Technology and supervises HDR students at Bond University, where he accepts PhD candidates in corporate entrepreneurship, frugal innovation, and sustainability.
