معرفی
Dr. Minnie McMillan is a Professor of Molecular Microbiology & Immunology and Neurology at the Keck School of Medicine, University of Southern California. She is the Founder of Anergix and serves on its Advisory Board. Her research focuses on the major histocompatibility complex (MHC) and its role in autoimmunity, particularly multiple sclerosis. She holds degrees from Oxford University (B.A., B.Sc., D.Phil. in Chemistry) and was a Gosney Fellow at Caltech under Lee Hood.
- Affiliations: Keck School of Medicine (USC), Anergix (Founder & Advisory Board)
- Education: Oxford University (Exhibitioner at Somerville College)
Her research interests span molecular immunogenetics, autoimmune disease mechanisms, and translational therapies. She has secured grants from NIAID and NIGMS and contributed to NIH/NCI review panels. Her publications emphasize vaccine design, gene therapy in neurological disorders, and cross-reactive antibody studies in viral models.
Dr. McMillan’s work integrates immunology with neurology, addressing therapeutic gaps in multiple sclerosis through MHC-based strategies. She has pioneered murine models for gene therapy and explored cross-species antibody applications against HIV.
