Dr. Minhee Sung is an Instructor of Medicine (General Internal Medicine) and core faculty in the Yale Program in Addiction Medicine. Affiliated with Yale School of Medicine and the Department of Veterans Affairs Connecticut Healthcare System, she focuses on optimizing health outcomes for older adults with opioid use disorder. Her clinical work involves managing chronic pain and opioid safety at the VA Chronic Pain Management Clinic.
Research Interests: Her research addresses disparities in opioid use disorder treatment, neurocognitive effects of long-term opioid therapy, and implementation of PrEP and medications for opioid use disorder among vulnerable populations. She collaborates on developing NLP tools to detect opioid-related aberrant behaviors.
