Minh-Phuoc (Tina) Ho is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the School of Nursing at the University of West Florida. She also serves as the TBSN Clinical Coordinator and Preceptorship Coordinator, supporting clinical education and faculty-student collaboration. Her roles include teaching Patient-Centered Care III and IV courses, as well as contributing to the graduate nursing program.
Dr. Ho holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from Grand Canyon University, a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) and Master’s in Healthcare Administration (MHA) from the University of Phoenix, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from the University of South Alabama.

Her research interests focus on improving patient safety through clinical practices like SBAR reporting during nurse handoffs, which reduced medication errors. She also specializes in critical care, burns nursing, and neurosurgery nursing.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Dr. Ho co-developed a virtual Code Management simulation for the PCC IV course, enabling real-time remote learning. She integrates innovative technologies such as Swivl and escape room activities into her teaching to enhance student engagement and practical skills.

In advising and grants, she coordinates clinical placements and preceptorships, ensuring students gain hands-on experience. She is a key figure in the local Asian community and an active member of the Asian American/Pacific Islander Nurses Association (AAPINA). Dr. Ho is fluent in Vietnamese and French, enriching her teaching and outreach efforts.
She previously established the first float team at Ascension Sacred Heart in Pensacola, Florida (2005), demonstrating her leadership in clinical nursing systems.
