معرفی
Ming Li is a Professor at the Weill Cornell Graduate School of Medical Sciences and a member of the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSKCC). His laboratory investigates molecular and cellular mechanisms of immune regulation in cancer, aiming to develop therapies that harness the immune system's potential for tumor suppression.
Education
- B.S. in Biochemistry, Fudan University (1993)
- M.S. in Molecular Biology, Shanghai Institute of Biochemistry (1996)
- Ph.D. in Biological Sciences, Columbia University (2001)
- Postdoctoral Training, Yale University
Research Interests
Dr. Li's work focuses on immune regulation in pathophysiological conditions like cancer. His lab explores:
- Tumor-elicited innate and adaptive immune responses
- Mechanisms of tumor immunosurveillance by innate lymphocytes and T cells
- Reprogramming tumor-associated macrophages for therapy
- Regulatory T cell signaling pathways (PI3K-Akt-Foxo1, TGF-beta) in cancer immunity
- Cell competition and juxtacrine Notch signaling in tumor suppression
This research has established cancer immunology as a distinct discipline beyond classical immune paradigms.
Scientific Awards
