Mina Ameri is an Assistant Professor of Business Administration at the Katz School of Business, University of Pittsburgh, where she joined in 2018. Her academic focus lies in Marketing and Business Economics, with research centered on quantitative analysis of digital entertainment markets and social network dynamics.
Research Interests: She investigates how friendship networks evolve alongside user activities in digital spaces, examining mechanisms through which personal and community networks influence media consumption decisions (e.g., anime, video games). Her work extends to healthcare apps during crises, franchise engagement, and incentivized content creation.
