Milos P. Pesic is an Assistant Professor at the University of Belgrade's Faculty of Chemistry, Department of Analytical Chemistry. He holds a doctorate in Chemical Sciences and has been a faculty member since 2023, following prior roles as a researcher at Petnica (2015-2020) and intern (2018).
- Education: Basic (2007-2012), Master's (2012-2013), and Doctorate (2013-2022) in Chemical Sciences, all from the University of Belgrade.
His research focuses on molecularly imprinted polymers, chromatography, and fluorescent polarization assays. He develops functional monomers and stationary phases for analytical applications, while also advancing chemistry education through demonstration experiments. His work includes physicochemical characterization of biologically active substances and molecular equilibrium studies.
Recent publications highlight advancements in molecular imprinting techniques for environmental contaminants (2022), cholesterol analysis (2020), and pharmaceutical solubility studies (2019). These works span analytical chemistry, biochemistry, and physical chemistry subfields.
Honors include the Hemofarm Foundation Stipend (2009-2012), Special Recognition from Serbian Chemical Society (2013), and Ministry Stipend for Doctoral Studies (2014).
Pesic contributes to teaching in Analytical Chemistry, Bioanalytical Chemistry, and participates in European Horizon projects like PFAStwin (2022-2025). He is associated with laboratories 508 and 529 at the Faculty of Chemistry.
