Tatjana Z. Verbic

Dr. Tatjana Z. Verbic is an Associate Professor at the Department of Analytical Chemistry, Faculty of Chemistry, University of Belgrade. Her work focuses on physicochemical characterization of bioactive substances and molecularly imprinted polymers (MIPs) for pharmaceutical and analytical applications.

• PhD (2010), MSc (2001), BSc (1997) in Chemical Sciences from University of Belgrade - Faculty of Chemistry

Research spans ionic equilibria, drug solubility, and MIP development for enantiomer separation and controlled release. Key projects include molecular imprinting optimization and pharmaceutical solubility studies.

Recent publications (2024-2025) emphasize drug delivery systems (SEDDS), graphene quantum dot sensors, and advanced MIP sorbents. Collaborations span institutions in Hungary, USA, and international EU projects.
