Milorad Danilović is a Full Professor at the Faculty of Forestry, University of Belgrade. He leads the Department of Forest Utilization and serves as the Head of the Chair of Forest Utilization. His academic journey began with a 1991 graduation from the Faculty of Forestry, followed by roles at Gračac Forestry and subsequent academic promotions up to Full Professor in 2016. He also served as a visiting professor at the University of Banja Luka (2012–2015).
- Roles: Director of Teaching Bases, President of the Expert Board at the Chamber of Forestry Engineers of Serbia
- Education: PhD in Forestry (2006), Master’s Degree (2000)
Research Interests: Focuses on forest utilization, mechanization in forestry, biomass energy applications, and forest openness strategies. His work integrates sustainable practices with technological advancements in forest management.
Publications: Over 130 papers and 2 monographs, with recent studies on forest seeder efficiency, biomass utilization, and mechanized harvesting techniques. His 2024 paper evaluates seeder performance in acorn reseeding under varying tractor power conditions.
Grants & Mentorship: Managed 14+ research projects and mentored 2 completed PhD theses with 4 ongoing. Supervised over 70 master’s theses and 15 current master’s students. Active in grant acquisition and project leadership.
Labs/Teams: Oversees teaching bases and collaborates with international organizations like FE Sremska Mitrovica. Engaged in institutional roles such as Head of Undergraduate Studies and former CNNO Manager (2015–2022).
