Andrej Cincarević is an Assistant Professor at the Piano department of the Faculty of Arts in Niš, Serbia. He holds a Master’s degree from the Faculty of Music in Belgrade, where he also pursued doctoral studies under Prof. Maja Rajković. His academic journey includes studies with notable mentors like Svetlana Korunović and Boris Kraljević.
- Education: B.A./M.A. in Music (Faculty of Music, Belgrade), ongoing Ph.D. in Piano (since 2019).
His research interests span classical piano performance, composition, and music arrangement. He has composed works like “Empress of Silence” and “The Cherub Song,” performed internationally in venues such as the F. Chopin Conservatory (Poland) and Tchaikovsky Conservatory (Russia). His arrangements have been showcased at festivals in Mexico and Belarus.
Awards include prestigious prizes at the Sremska Mitrovica Piano Festival, “Slobomir” International Competition, and the “Banja Luka Biennale.”
He collaborates with ensembles like the Church Coral Society “Branko” and Collegium musicum, performing as a pianist and vocal soloist. His work bridges academic music education and international performance.
