Prof. Dr. Zoran Govedar is a full professor at the Faculty of Forestry, University of Banja Luka. His work focuses on forest management, old-growth forests, and silviculture with a particular emphasis on the Dinaric Alps and Balkan ecosystems. He has contributed significantly to understanding forest dynamics, climate change impacts, and biodiversity conservation. Active in international research collaborations, he has authored numerous publications on topics including forest structure analysis, natural regeneration processes, and the application of remote sensing in forestry.
