Millie Daviss is a Lecturer in Student Futures, Academic and Professional Education at the School of Education & Lifelong Learning, University of East Anglia (UEA). Appointed to a full-time role in September 2024 after joining the school in 2017, she serves as Placement Director overseeing student placements while completing her PhD on wellbeing interventions for disengaged youth learners.

Drawing from nonprofit, health, and research sector experience, her work bridges physical education, sport psychology, and educational theory. She teaches across BSc Physical Education, Sport and Health and BA Education Cluster programmes, emphasizing learner identity, professional development, and community practice to address youth disengagement through innovative pedagogical approaches.
As Athlete Lifestyle Advisor for UEA Sport Scholars, she integrates semi-professional sporting experience with academic practice, supporting student-athletes through collaborations with the Performance Sport Department while advancing research on wellbeing-focused learning interventions.
