Milica Stoјković is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Social Sciences and Humanities at the Faculty of Technical Sciences in Čačak, University of Kragujevac, Serbia. She holds a PhD in Psychology from the University of Belgrade with a dissertation on 'Teachers' professional identity development.' Her academic career spans over a decade, with positions progressing from Teaching Assistant to Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Technical Sciences in Čačak since 2012.
Dr. Stoјković earned her PhD in Psychology (2012-2018) and her undergraduate degree in Psychology (2005-2010), both from the Faculty of Philosophy at the University of Belgrade. She is also a certified Gestalt Psychotherapist accredited by the European Association for Gestalt Therapy and has completed training in Constructivist psychotherapy. Her educational background is complemented by professional development in qualitative data analysis using MAXQDA software and experimental interaction design.
Her primary research interests center around Educational Psychology, with a focus on teachers' professional identity development, psychological resilience, nonverbal communication, and inclusive education. Dr. Stoјković has made significant contributions to understanding how digital environments impact psychological resilience, particularly through her work on the DigiPsyRes project which examines peer networking for student support in online contexts. Her research also explores the intersection of technology and education, including e-teaching practices during the pandemic and computer-assisted language learning.
Analysis of Dr. Stoјković's recent publications reveals a strong thematic focus on psychological resilience, particularly in educational contexts. Her work spans multiple dimensions of resilience - examining both student and teacher perspectives, investigating digital and psychological aspects, and exploring how peer support networks can strengthen resilience during crises. There's also a consistent thread examining teachers' professional development, identity formation, and adaptation to changing educational landscapes, particularly in the context of digital transformation and pandemic challenges.
Dr. Stoјković has been actively involved in multiple research projects, most notably as a team member and Consortium Board member of the international project 'Enhancing digital and psychological resilience through peer networking in the online environment in times of crises' (DigiPsyRes). She has also contributed to the ERASMUS+ project 'HE and VET alliance establishment according to Bologna Principals implementation via VET teachers' capacity building' (ALLVET). Her grant work demonstrates a commitment to bridging educational theory with practical applications for teacher development and student support.
She is an active member of research teams and has contributed significantly to the organization of academic conferences, serving as General Secretary for the TIO 2016 and TIE 2018 international conferences and as co-chair of the Organizational Committee for TIE 2022. Dr. Stoјković has also served as Erasmus+ coordinator for the Faculty of Technical Sciences in Čačak from 2015-2022, facilitating international academic exchanges.
