Dragana Bjekić is a Full Professor at the Department of Social and Human Sciences, Faculty of Technical Sciences, University of Kragujevac, Serbia. Elected to her current position on January 27, 2011, she has been affiliated with the Technical Faculty since October 1, 1989, progressing from assistant to full professor. Her academic home spans both the Department of Pedagogical and Technical Sciences (until 2022) and the current Department of Social and Human Sciences.
Her research interests center on Educational Psychology, with specialized expertise in Teacher Communication Competence, Psychological Resilience, Inclusive Education, and Entrepreneurship in Education. Her scholarly trajectory reveals a significant evolution from foundational teacher psychology research toward digital education and psychological resilience frameworks, particularly evident in her recent DigiPsyRes project work (2021-2024). She has developed innovative e-learning curricula including Serbia's first e-teacher master program and has been instrumental in adapting educational frameworks during the pandemic.
Her publication portfolio demonstrates consistent scholarly productivity across educational psychology and digital learning domains. Recent work (2022-2024) focuses on psychological resilience, teacher communication in digital environments, and entrepreneurial competence development.
