Miles J Padgett is a Royal Society Research Professor and holds the Kelvin Chair of Natural Philosophy at the University of Glasgow's School of Physics and Astronomy. He leads QuantIC, the UK's quantum imaging center, and served as Interim Executive Chair of the EPSRC (2023) and Vice-Principal for Research at Glasgow (2014–2019).
