Milan Hanyš, Ph.D., is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Philosophy, Faculty of Humanities, Charles University, Prague. His research focuses on Political Philosophy, Central European Intellectual History, and Jewish Philosophy, with special attention to Hannah Arendt, T.G. Masaryk, and interwar Czechoslovakia.
- Education: Ph.D. in Philosophy (Charles University, 2014)
- Doctoral Thesis: Apostle Paul and Philosophy: A Study of Political Theology and its Reception in Contemporary Philosophy
Research Projects include:
- Principal Investigator for Felix Weltsch, Jindřich Kohn, and the Intellectual History of Interwar Czechoslovakia (Czech Science Foundation, 2021–2024)
- Team member for International Correspondence Networks of T.G. Masaryk until 1918 (2021)
- Researcher at the Center of Excellence for Phenomenology Research (Charles University, 2015–2016)
