Dr. Milad Parpouchi is a Lecturer in Simon Fraser University's Faculty of Health Sciences and researcher at the Centre for Applied Research in Mental Health and Addiction (CARMHA). His community-engaged research examines health interventions for marginalized populations, particularly regarding opioid use disorder and homelessness.

Research develops recovery-oriented approaches for people experiencing complex health challenges, including provincial guidelines for substance use disorders. Current projects examine treatment access barriers and mental health service reforms.
