Miklos Fogarasi, MD, is an Associate Professor of Medical Sciences at the Frank H. Netter MD School of Medicine, Quinnipiac University, North Haven, CT. He serves as Block Co-Director for Hematology/Oncology and Gastroenterology/Endocrinology blocks, Capstone Mentor, Student Interest Group Advisor, and Career Advisor.
- Education: MD from Semmelweis University School of Medicine, Budapest, Hungary (summa cum laude)
- Training: Residency at UMASS-Memorial Campus; Hematology/Oncology fellowship at Yale University
His research and teaching focus on oncology, cancer survivorship, and innovative active learning strategies in medical education. He completed the Harvard Macy Institute Program for Educators in Health Professions (2018/19) and has been recognized with the Excellence in Medical Sciences Teaching Award (2023). Dr. Fogarasi previously practiced hematology-oncology for 15 years before transitioning to full-time medical education.
