Research interests include autoimmune diabetes progression, the role of Granulin and TLR-9 in immune dysregulation, and translational studies in prostate cancer and cardiovascular disease. His work employs murine models for in vivo experimentation and molecular analyses such as PCR, flow cytometry, and Western Blotting.
Publications highlight contributions to understanding the pathogenesis of autoimmune diabetes, notably the 2018 paper in JCI Insight on cytidine deaminase deficiency in NOD mice.
