Miki Watanabe

Miki Watanabe, MD is an Associate Professor in the Division of Infectious Diseases within the Department of Medicine at the University of California Irvine School of Medicine. She also serves as an Associate Professor in the Hospitalist Program at UC Irvine.

Dr. Watanabe is a board-certified physician specializing in infectious diseases and hospital medicine. She sees patients at UCI Douglas Hospital in Orange.

Her clinical expertise encompasses the full spectrum of infectious diseases with particular focus on hospital-acquired infections, antimicrobial stewardship, and management of complex infectious disease cases in hospitalized patients.
