Mikhail Vorontsov

Mikhail Vorontsov is a Distinguished Research Professor and Director of the Intelligent Optics Laboratory at the University of Dayton School of Engineering's Department of Electro-Optics and Photonics. He holds dual degrees: a Sc.D. in Physics and Mathematics and a Ph.D. in Physics from Moscow State University, Russia. His research focuses on adaptive optics, atmospheric turbulence mitigation, beam control, laser communication systems, and applications in directed energy and additive manufacturing. He leads Optonicus, a company advancing laser technologies, and has authored over 300 papers and four books.
