Mikhail Fedosovsky is a Professor at the Faculty of Control Systems and Robotics of ITMO University and the Head of the Institute of Intelligent Industrial Technologies. He also leads the Department of Systems and Technologies of Tech Security at the Faculty of Technological Management and Innovations in collaboration with Diakont CJSC. He holds a PhD and graduated from the Leningrad Institute of Technology in 1983.
His research focuses on probabilistic safety analysis and the development of safety/security systems for high-risk industrial environments, including nuclear plants and oil pipelines. This work integrates advanced diagnostic technologies to inspect and repair hazardous infrastructure.
Under his leadership, Diakont CJSC has become a top Russian high-tech firm, producing cutting-edge equipment deployed in over 20 facilities across Europe, Asia, and the US.
