Danil Zakoldaev is an Associate Professor at ITMO University's Faculty of Secure Information Technologies, serving as Head of the International Scientific and Academic Center "Security and Safety for Critical Digital Technologies" and Senior Researcher at the International Research Laboratory for Intelligent Data Processing Methods and Semantic Technologies. He holds a PhD in Engineering and has been actively involved in research and development since completing his studies.
- Education: St. Petersburg University of Fine Mechanics and Optics (now ITMO University, 2002), PhD in Engineering (2012)
- Professional Experience: IBM R&D internship (2013), Retraining in state/municipal management
His research focuses on computer-aided design, big data, security for digital manufacturing, and hardware security, with a strong emphasis on applying information technologies to education. He has contributed to over 50 publications, including 25 research papers, and co-developed 10+ computer programs for critical Russian enterprises.
