Mikel Kuehn is an American composer and faculty member at the Eastman School of Music. His work is characterized by "sensuous phrases...producing an effect of high abstraction turning into decadence" (The New York Times). He directs the Electroacoustic Music Studios @ Eastman (EMuSE) and has been commissioned by major ensembles and soloists.
