Mike Tuck is a chartered architect and Lecturer at the Department of Architecture, University of Cambridge, where he serves as a Design Fellow and Year 1 Director of Studies for Lucy Cavendish College. He holds degrees from the University of Cambridge (Architecture), the Royal College of Art (Architecture), and the Slade School of Fine Art (MA in Sculpture). His professional career includes working with RIBA award-winning practices, delivering projects ranging from residential buildings to the Bretton Country Park Visitors Centre at the Yorkshire Sculpture Park. Tuck founded his own studio in 2014, focusing on innovative architectural design that bridges art and functionality.
His research interests emphasize the intersection of sculpture and architecture, with a focus on cultural heritage and sustainable design. He has extensive experience in complex project delivery, combining artistic vision with technical expertise. Tuck’s academic contributions include mentoring students and advancing pedagogical approaches in architectural education.
