Mikael Knip

Mikael Knip is a Research Professor at the University of Helsinki, affiliated with the HUS Children's and Adolescent Diseases unit. He leads the CAMM - Research Program for Clinical and Molecular Metabolism and supervises doctoral studies in Clinical Research. His research focuses on type 1 diabetes etiology, gut microbiome interactions, environmental determinants, and HLA genotype influences.
