Miho Sato is an Adjunct Assistant Professor in Music Therapy at Shenandoah University's Conservatory. She has been employed since 2020 and specializes in supporting sensory processing/integration through clinical music therapy. Sato also directs a community music therapy program at the Community Music School of the Piedmont, serving individuals of all ages with or without special needs.

Her research focuses on the intersection of music therapy and sensory integration, with practical implementation in community programs. Sato is a certified instructor for the Music Together early childhood music initiative.
In her personal life, she collaborates musically with her husband Dr. Alán Saucedo (cellist) and prioritizes family time with their children aged 10 and 13.
