معرفی
Miho Janvier is a solar and space physicist affiliated with the European Space Agency (ESA/ESTEC, Netherlands) as a seconded researcher from the Institut d’Astrophysique Spatiale (France). Her work focuses on predicting space weather by studying solar flares, coronal mass ejections, and their impacts on planetary environments. She contributes to the Solar Orbiter mission as deputy project scientist for the SPICE instrument and a co-investigator for EUI. Her research integrates multi-spacecraft data and 3D computer modeling to advance understanding of solar eruptions and their heliospheric effects.
Education: Holds a doctorate in plasma physics with applications to nuclear fusion science. Current roles include leadership in ESA’s Solar Orbiter mission operations and data analysis.
Research Interests: Combines observational and computational approaches to study solar dynamics, including flare mechanisms, CME propagation, and space weather forecasting. Active collaborations involve NASA, JAXA, and international teams analyzing Solar Orbiter data.
Outreach Contributions: Founded the non-profit SpaceTravelVR to develop immersive VR experiences for public science engagement, including collaborations with CNES and ESA on Solar Orbiter mission visualization projects. Public speaker and advocate for science communication in challenging societal contexts.
