معرفی
Dr. Nada Al-Haddad is a Research Professor at the University of New Hampshire's Space Science Center, specializing in heliophysics and coronal mass ejections. Her work focuses on understanding the magnetic structure and evolution of solar transients using multispacecraft observations and advanced modeling techniques.
Her primary research interests include:
- Multispacecraft analysis of Coronal Mass Ejections (CMEs)
- Magnetic flux rope topology and evolution
- Interplanetary coronal mass ejection (ICME) propagation
- Space weather prediction models
- Solar wind interactions with magnetic structures
- Development of advanced in-situ diagnostics for heliospheric physics
Her publications demonstrate a consistent focus on improving observational methodologies through coordinated missions like STEREO, Solar Orbiter, and Parker Solar Probe. Recent work emphasizes the development of more realistic CME models, investigation of small-scale flux ropes, and addressing fundamental knowledge gaps in space weather forecasting.
Dr. Al-Haddad leads multiple major research initiatives funded by NASA and NSF:
- NSF: Improving Models to Better Represent CME Structure (2021-2025)
- NASA: Investigating Structure of Coronal Magnetic Eruptions (2021-2025)
- Predictive Science Inc: Understanding CME Evolution (2022-2024)
- NSF: Developing Ab Initio CME Models (2020-2023)
