Miguel Willis serves as the Innovator in Residence at the Future of the Profession Initiative (FPI) of a Law School. He concurrently holds the Executive Director position for Access to Justice Tech Fellows (A2J Tech Fellows), a national nonprofit developing tech-driven legal access solutions for marginalized populations, and advises the University of Arizona James E. Rogers College of Law’s Innovation for Justice program and the Legal Services Corporation’s Emerging Leaders Council.
His educational background includes:
- Political Science degree from Howard University
- Juris Doctor from Seattle University School of Law (2017)
Willis specializes in leveraging technology to advance equitable legal access, with core expertise in Access to Justice systems, Legal Technology implementation, and Innovation frameworks for underserved communities. His work bridges legal practice, policy development, and technological solutions through initiatives like A2J Tech Fellows, which trains law students to build tools addressing systemic barriers in legal services.
His pioneering contributions have earned recognition through:

As an educator, Willis teaches Law, Technology, and Access to Justice while mentoring A2J Tech Fellows participants.
