Miguel Leatham, Ph.D., is a Senior Instructor at the AddRan College of Liberal Arts, Department of Sociology & Anthropology at Texas Christian University (TCU). He holds affiliations with Religion & Culture, Folklore, and Mexican Studies programs. His academic background includes a Ph.D. and MA from the University of New Mexico, an MSLS from the University of North Texas, and a BA from the University of New Mexico.
Dr. Leatham teaches courses such as Introduction to Cultural Anthropology, Archaeology of Mexico and Peru, and Anthropology and Religion. His research focuses on religious movements, Mexican and Mexican-American folklore, rural Latin American societies, and biosocial anthropology. His scholarship explores millenarian movements, Pentecostal adaptations in Mexico, and ethnographic fieldwork challenges in religious contexts.
