David Sandell, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor in the Department of Sociology & Anthropology at Texas Christian University (TCU), affiliated with AddRan College of Liberal Arts. His research focuses on Cultural Anthropology, folklore, religion, migration, and Mexican studies. He holds a Ph.D. in Anthropology from the University of Texas at Austin (2004), alongside MA degrees from UT Austin (1998) and the University of Southern California (1993), and a BA in English and French from Lewis & Clark College (1987).
