Miguel Algueró

Dr. Miguel Algueró is a Senior Researcher at the Institute of Materials Science of Madrid (ICMM), part of the Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas (CSIC, Spain). He holds a PhD in Physics of Materials from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (1998). His research focuses on multiferroic and ferroelectric materials, exploring their applications in information technologies through advanced processing techniques like spark plasma sintering and mechanochemical synthesis. He has led over 10 research projects, including MAT2017-88788-R on magnetoelectric materials. Key recognitions include the Ramón y Cajal Researcher Fellowship and a Marie Curie Postdoctoral Fellowship.

Research interests span multiferroic ceramics, thin films, and composites, with emphasis on nanostructuring and size effects.
