Mieke Decuyper is a researcher and lecturer at Thomas More University of Applied Sciences, specializing in personality psychology and clinical psychology. She holds a PhD from Ghent University (2010) with a doctoral focus on psychopathy and personality pathology across lifespan development. Her current role involves teaching Personality Psychology, Clinical Psychology, and Practical Psychological Assessment while researching causes of emotional/behavioral problems, personality pathology assessment, and psychopathic traits' societal impact. She actively contributes to projects addressing interpersonal violence in sports and higher education institutions. At the People and Well-being Research Group, her work bridges psychological assessment methodologies with real-world applications.
