Mickaël Begon is a Full Professor at the University of Montreal's Faculty of Medicine - School of Kinesiology and Physical Activity Sciences, located at the CEPSUM Sports Center (Room 7205). His research focuses on biomechanical modeling, shoulder injury prevention, sports movement optimization, and orthotic design. He holds affiliations with the Azrieli Research Center at CHU Sainte-Justine, the INTER strategic group (Interactive Technology Engineering in Rehabilitation), and the BRAMS International Laboratory for Brain, Music, and Sound Research.

Advising: Supervised over 30 graduate students since 2012, focusing on biomechanical modeling, musculoskeletal disorders, and rehabilitation technologies.
Labs & Teams: Co-leads the Musculoskeletal Health axis at CHU Sainte-Justine's Research Center and collaborates with the INTER strategic innovation group on rehabilitation technologies.
