Michelle Yeoman is a Lecturer and Academic Tutor at the School of Education, Language and Psychology, York St John University. Her career spans early childhood education, having led a private preschool, worked as a Lead Practitioner for Local Authority interventions, and contributed to the National Opportunity Area Project. She teaches modules focused on early years theory, practice, leadership, and family support within the Children, Young People and Education degree pathways. Her research explores academic tutoring roles in HE, early years practitioners' professional worth, and student wellbeing during the cost of living crisis. She is a Mental Health First Aider and near completion of her Professional Doctorate in Education.
