Michelle Teti is an Associate Dean of the Honors College and a Professor in the Department of Public Health at the University of Missouri System. She is also a program affiliate in the Black Studies Program.

Research Focus:
- 25 years of research with populations living with or at risk for HIV
- Examines impacts of health disparities and social-structural vulnerabilities (poverty, racism, stigma, homophobia, sexism) on sexual and overall health decisions
- Expertise in participatory research and qualitative/visual patient-driven methodologies
- Work informs public health solutions for stigmatized illnesses
