Michelle Solomon is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Nursing at the Faculty of Health Sciences, Ontario Tech University. She holds a PhD in Nursing from Western University (2024), an MScN (2013), and a BScN (2010), all from Western University. Her research focuses on mental health interventions for marginalized and racialized youth, spirituality in mental health care, and participatory research methodologies. Dr. Solomon is actively involved in community initiatives such as her podcast on holistic mental health practices and serves as a communication executive for the Registered Nursing Association of Ontario’s Faith Community Nursing Interest Group. She teaches courses like NURS 3701U: Mental Health Nursing Theory and Practice.
