Dr. Michelle Nuss is a Professor of Internal Medicine and Psychiatry at the Medical College of Georgia (MCG) and holds an adjunct clinical professor appointment in the Department of Psychology at the University of Georgia's Franklin College of Arts and Sciences. She serves as Campus Dean, Associate Dean for Graduate Medical Education (GME), and Designated Institutional Official at the Augusta University/University of Georgia Medical Partnership in Athens, Georgia.

- Leadership: Oversaw statewide GME expansion, leading to 9 new teaching hospitals and 800 resident positions
- Awards: Recognized for excellence in teaching, medical education innovation, and public health contributions
Her research focuses on Medical Education and Healthcare Workforce Development, emphasizing curriculum design, residency program development, and addressing rural healthcare disparities. She has secured $19.6 million in funding over seven years for GME initiatives and collaborates with the Georgia Board for Healthcare Workforce and Area Health Education Centers.
