Michelle McIntosh is a Professor at Monash University's Faculty of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, specializing in drug delivery systems, particularly pulmonary delivery and global health. She leads the Drug Delivery, Disposition and Dynamics department at the Monash Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences. Her research focuses on improving access to life-saving medications, such as developing an inhaled oxytocin formulation to prevent postpartum hemorrhage in resource-limited settings. She has held roles including Director of the HMSTrust Laboratory and the Medicines Manufacturing Innovation Centre (MMIC), fostering industry-academia collaboration.
