Dr. Michelle McGinn serves as Acting Vice-President, Research and Professor in the Department of Educational Studies at Brock University's Faculty of Education. She holds a PhD in Education from Simon Fraser University and a Research Administration certificate from Mohawk College. Her work focuses on research ethics, collaboration, mentorship, and graduate student development. She co-leads the nationally funded 'Academic Researchers in Challenging Times' project, examining social science scholars and administrators. Recent research explores pandemic impacts on early-career researchers, remote doctoral supervision, and generous scholarship models.
