Michelle Jones

Michelle Jones is Professor and Deputy Vice-Chancellor at Plymouth Marjon University, leading academic strategy with focus on teaching and research excellence. Her interdisciplinary research examines physical activity interventions and wellbeing in young populations through mixed-methods approaches.

Research interests center on applied studies linking physical activity with child development, educational outcomes, and public health policy. Recent publications analyze immersive activity experiences, school-based interventions, and active learning curricula.
