Michelle Harding

Michelle Harding is an Assistant Professor at the Pamplin College of Business, Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. She holds a Ph.D. in Accounting from the University of Tennessee, and B.S. and M.S. degrees in Accounting from the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia. Licensed as a CPA in Florida, she previously worked as a controller for a Fortune 100 subsidiary. Her research focuses on corporate tax disclosure incentives, governance, and the impact of tax law changes. She teaches corporate and individual taxation courses and has presented research at institutions like the University of Virginia and National Tax Association Annual Meeting.

She also explores e-commerce strategies and board diversity's regulatory implications. Her work bridges tax policy, financial reporting, and organizational dynamics.
