Harry A. Franks Jr.

Harry A. Franks Jr. serves as a Lecturer of Commerce at the McIntire School of Commerce, University of Virginia, teaching Federal Taxation and Tax Research. Previously, he taught for six years at the University of Virginia School of Law covering Financial Accounting, Corporate Finance, Mergers and Acquisitions, and Business Planning. With over 30 years of industry experience in multinational tax practice, he retired from Baker Hughes in 2018 after leading the tax planning group through the GE oil and gas merger.
