Jingjing (Jing) Huang is an Associate Professor and John F. Carroll, Jr. Faculty Fellow at the Pamplin College of Business, Virginia Tech. She holds a PhD in Accounting from the University of Oregon, an MS in Accounting from Iowa State University, and a BS in Business Administration from Shanghai University of Electric Power. A licensed Iowa CPA, she previously taught at the University of Oregon and worked as a federal tax associate at KPMG, with prior internships at Deloitte and Touche (London) and HNI Corporation (Iowa/Hong Kong).
Her research focuses on tax strategies of multinational firms, financial accounting disclosures, corporate finance dynamics, and R&D innovation trade-offs. Notable projects include analyzing foreign earnings management under tax regimes and evaluating tax incentives versus non-tax costs in R&D investment decisions.
Award highlights include the prestigious John F. Carroll Jr. Faculty Fellowship and doctoral fellowships from Deloitte Foundation and the University of Oregon. Her professional experience bridges academia and industry, with expertise in audit, tax advisory, and global corporate finance operations.
